Why BSX Points?
Since our launch on Base mainnet on April 1, 2024, our community has been enthusiastic about trading on BSX. Within three weeks, we have achieved a total trading volume of over $275M. A huge shoutout to our community!
BSX Points are now a crucial part of our commitment to amplifying community engagement and rewarding loyalty. It’s designed to quantify and recognize participants for their growth contributions. Ultimately, we aim to strengthen the bonds between loyal BSX traders and the BSX platform.
Here’s How It Works
Traders participating in BSX Points can accrue points through two primary activities:
- Trading: Deposit and trade frequently on BSX to earn points.
- Referring: Refer a friend and receive additional points equal to 10% of the points your friend accumulates throughout the trading program. Your friend will earn a 10% boost in their trading points as well!

Now here are the deets for Season 1:
- Start date: April 23, 2024, at 00:00 UTC
- End date: June 18, 2024, at 11:59 UTC
- Duration: 8 epochs, each lasting 7 days
- Reward amount: 8 million points to be distributed this season, with 1 million points distributed weekly for the length of the season.
- Bonuses: Maximum 1 million bonus points in season 1. Details on how to earn bonus will come out soon. Stay tuned for update!
- Claim ability: Points are credited to your account on the following Tuesday of each epoch.
Eligibility:
- For the trading program, the specific number of points per trade can vary based on various factors, including the type of transaction, total trade volume, fee paid, open interest, etc. To prevent gamification and ensure fairness, the exact point methodology will not be disclosed until the end of the rewards program.
- For the referral program, points are calculated based on the trading activity of the people you refer, with no upper limit on how many points you can earn from this method.
- No wash trading, or inflated trading activities are allowed on the exchange.
How can you participate?
- Deposit USDC to app.bsx.exchange
- Start trading your favorite pairs (hint: new pair = bonus!)
- Open limit order and provide liquidity on the orderbook
- Check the points page to see how many estimated points you have accumulated (updated hourly)
- Claim your earned points by the following Wednesday of each epoch.
