Recently I had the idea of writing a piece about how we perceive work. The goal was to figure out a new kind of thinking that would allow me to finally live according the famous piece of advice:
“Choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.”
So a guy I use to work with gave me one of the most useful pieces of advice for my own professional and personal development. Something I remind myself on a daily basis.

This is good stuff. As an amateur musician, it’s tough to remember to create… even though that’s what it’s all about. I find myself trying to perfect and “arrive” rather than realizing my “flow” and excitement is in the process of creating.
