Bubu & Dudu’s Lottery
06/27/2023 — We have since made some changes to our lottery mechanics. Most of these changes include removing staking and changing this to a burning mechanic. Please read through the changes we have made.
For those of you who are interested in our lottery mechanic, here are all the details for you that you need to know. But first — a quick briefing on $DUDU and our tax.
$DUDU has not yet released and we will announce details in the future, but for now — this is our sister token to $BUBU, and will use the same lottery mechanic in order to create an enveloped ecosystem of both our tokens. We may have more use-cases for either token in the future that we may announce. You never know.
$BUBU and $DUDU will be 5/5 taxed tokens. This means that every sale and every buy will be taxed by 5%.
Tax? And what for?
- 1% to liquidity,
- 1% to marketing,
- 1% to buybacks and burns,
- 2% to reward vaults.
Our lottery works as follows:
- You must burn at least $88.88 worth of $BUBU in order to potentially win $DUDU’s fees or at least $88.88 of $DUDU to potentially win $BUBU’s fees. To clarify, this is just a chance to win fees from the other token and have some fun on-chain.
- Of the $88.88 burnt, 90% of this will be burnt forever. For the remaining 10%, 5% of it will go to marketing and the last 5% will go to the person who refers the burner (the affiliate).
- You can burn up to 100 entries ($8,888 worth of tokens) per transaction. There is no cap.
- Every seven days, tickets will reset completely. This means your tickets will last up to seven days until the whole vault resets!
- The payouts from the lottery are done in ETH to avoid skewed selling and/or distribution of either $BUBU or $DUDU.
- Payouts are capped at a variable percent of the ETH in the vault (e.g. 1–5%). This is to keep the vaults from going empty, ruining all the fun!
- $BUBU’s lottery can only be drawn two times a day, whereas $DUDU’s lottery can only be drawn six times a day. Payouts can be triggered by any user via the contract or our website.
Whenever it is time for another payout, any user can trigger it via the contract or our website. A payout can be triggered provided it has been at least a couple seconds since the last payout. Those who trigger the payout are tipped (0.0025ETH) and will have their gas fee returned. We use Chainlink VRF to perform the payout completely randomly. This ensures that this process is fair for everyone, with no hidden doors behind it at all.
