If I responded to it, I read it. Which post are you speaking about? Cut and paste it and post it again with a notation that this is the post you were referring to.

What is the point? The oven is using convection to cook. The air absorbs heat from a mass it comes in contact with, in this case aluminium walls of the heating box in which the bulb is screwed. The IR/visible light is absorbed by the aluminium heat box and transfered to the air which rises and moves over the food.

The IR can heat the walls of the heat box, the visible light isn’t, simple. So what is your point?
