I won’t let the little things slip out of my mouth…

Or out of my heart or something.. (can’t remember what exactly new direction sang)

The everyday things we forget

People, those things that are so relevant but we think are normal yeah — this post is strongly dedicated to them.

I’m grateful for:

· Intelligent women with visions ( that are actualizing them)

· LOVE — love is so beautiful. I get so happy when I see an expression of love and sincere appreciation! Especially on social media (social media PDA isn’t really my thing though) but when I see it im just happy! Like you’re proud of the one you love *sigh

· MOMENTS — Those short moments that never last ( a rush of love, a rush of joy, extreme happiness, disappointment, hurt, anger, extreme shock)

· CARING FATHERS — Daddy wants to know when you breathe, its super duper annoying but I’m so so grateful for him

· GRAPHIC DESIGNERS — My friend brings out life on instagram every day, its beautiful, an expression of his thoughts, an insight to his thinking pattern. Putting thoughts to picture just blows my mind @ikennachifo

· EXCITEMENT — I woke up this morning and I was super excited, you don’t know the beauty in excitement! (Harmless and healthy excitement)

· LITTLE JOTTERS AND NOTEPADS –You know those little books we write our to do lists in(technology can never take this away from some of us), those one you use as journals and idea books!

· PRAYERsigh of relief I can’t even begin to express my gratitude

· STARTUPS!- These companies actualizing the vision of someone, employing others and outing a food on someone’s table. They’re like little ants, all over the place and making a difference in one or 2 lives

· BLUE BRT (Bus Rapid Transit a.k.a. Babatunde Raji Transit a.k.a. lagos transit)- The efficiency with which these things run still amazes me till today! Fully air-conditioned transit in Lagos, Nigeria. It is now affordable again, cheaper than the regular commercial buses. Please on behalf of the Nigerian Association of Public transport users, I’m grateful

BLUE BRT BUS FAM!

· GOOGLE MAPS — Saving us from heavy traffic since… when we realized it could show it to us!

· WHATSAPP GROUP CHATS — The ones that are useful cause some are just really really unnecessary and annoying (delete it fast if its unnecessary tbh)

· FEMALE INSTINCTS –See I don’t know if males have male instincts but my female antennas are literally always right, thank you for saving me

· EARPHONES/HEADPHONES — I love you! You have no idea!!

· GALA (My Nigerian Folks in diaspora will understand haha)

· PLANTAIN — You are my forever love “dodo”, easy to fry, ever constant taste

· ANKARA — The traditional “African” material , beautiful stuff

· MY LAPTOP — My television, my notepad, my alarm clock, my boo, this article wont be possible without you

· ELECTRICITY

· MY BURRIFUL BED!

I hope with these few points of mine I have been able to convince you that life is beautiful, the little things count and the maker of all these things is the GREATEST OF ALL TIME.

P.s. this is my first article!

I would love if you could just write in the comment box that little thing you’re grateful for.
