I was born January 19, 1988, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I studied at the Rogelio Yrurtia School of Fine Arts. At the age of 16, I began to exhibit my work in shows organized by the city government in Buenos Aires. During this time I was exposed to CENTRO CULTURAL ADAN BUENOS AIRES with the exhibition “ME,” which was a set of realistic and fantastic drawings.
At the age of seventeen, I took part in exhibits at the Rogelio Yrurtia House of Culture, and later at the Province House.
When I was eighteen, I was called back to expose during the opening season for the Adam Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, with the exhibition “THE SPIRIT OF SOLITUDE”, featuring artworks which were purely Gothic. At the age of nineteen, I joined the magazine Caras y Caretas.
At the age of twenty, I exhibited art in the Teatro Arlequines, the first Gothic festival in Buenos Aires, “THE WORLD OF DOMES”. And again with the second Gothic Festival in Buenos Aires, showing “THE 7 SINS” in drawings.I was also interviewed by the newspaper Clarín for the supplement SÍ. On October 20, 2013, traveled to England and was invited by the Hillier Art Gallery. In England, I had shows in several galleries including, Stockport Art Gallery, Solaris Center and the Eccles Community Art Gallery.
For most of my work, I use black pencils on paper. Sometimes I use colored pencils. I love pencils! They help me add a lot of detail. I feel that the pencil gives more drama to the drawing, black and white give a great atmosphere to the story that I tell in each drawing. I can work all the characters in great detail.
I´m inspired by life, society, and I like observing people. I am especially intrigued by what they’re thinking. I like to draw human miseries, fears, and hidden desires, things that make some people feel uncomfortable. Some people identify with my art and many others reflect on it. People tell me that a drawing made them remember their childhood or some point in their lives. I love the different interpretations that each person gets from viewing my art. I´m inspired by world history and classic children’s stories such as Alice in Wonderland among others.
