When you order beef jerky online or get it from stores, most of them boast it to be a lean piece of meat. You may find it inscribed on the outer covers, ‘made from lean meat’, which is supposed to be a signal of goodness in terms of its quality.

But do you really know what lean meat is? Or is it just a marketing bluff to befool the innocent customers? Let us see this in a bit detail:

What Is Lean Meat?
