Interactive Digital Collectible Integrations w/ BULVRD Drive

Users of our beta may remember being able to select a NFT digital collectible to use as their location marker on the BULVRD Drive app….

We are now bringing it back! With newest releases of BULVRD Drive on Android and iOS you can now use digital collectibles to be shown as your location as seen by other users of BULVRD Drive!

You can currently use your BLVD Collectibles you may have earned through in-app or community achievements. Though we have also created some unique collectibles in limited quantities you may use your BLVD earnings for: https://opensea.io/assets/blvd-collectible-1

To use a collectible in app

Android:

• Go to your Profile -> Tap Wallet Collectibles
• You’ll see a list of collectibles in your wallet. Don’t have any? See all available options on OpenSea! https://opensea.io/assets/blvd-collectible-1
• Tap a BLVD collectible and you’ll be shown a dialog, tap Set as My Map Icon

And that’s it, you’ve set a digital collectible as your map icon within the BULVRD Drive world!

Your selected digital collectible is also now used in the BULVRD Drive navigation drawer, further customizing your in-app experience!

Within the BLVD Hub, in newest releases we have added a Collectibles tab showing all BLVD Collectibles that have been generated!

iOS:

• Go to your Profile -> Tap Your Collectibles

• Tap a BLVD Collectible and you’ll be shown a dialog. Select Set as Location Icon

And that’s it, you’ve set a digital collectible as your map icon within the BULVRD Drive world!

Future

• U L T R A subscribers will be able to select ANY digital collectible for use as their map icon (More on U L T R A coming soon!)
• We will be integrating with 0xEarth : A fully trustless digital land ownership smart contract of earth to enable a user to ‘stake’ a digital collectible on 0xEarth LAND that they own. More on this next week!
• We are exploring setting the icon YOU see as your location with a digital collectible. This can cause some issues with the perceived accuracy of your devices location and possibly create an undesired experience. We will be doing more testing and exploration on this front.
