Introducing the BLVD DAO

A part of our roadmap has been to setup a DAO to manage the BLVD token and ecosystem, and today is the start of that process!

We’ve decided to use Aragon as the basis for the BLVD DAO. From our research it has proven to be the easiest DAO structure to engage with, which we believe is important for our community as we have been the introduction for many into the blockchain / crypto space. Aragon also features a modular system enabling for further expansions and controls to be passed to the DAO in the future.

ANYONE can join the BLVD DAO.

For every 5,000 BLVD sent to the DAO, you will receive 1 BLVDD (BLVD DAO) token, which is a means of representation and voting within the DAO itself.

Please note, once you send BLVD tokens in you CANNOT get them back out. If you want to leave the DAO, you will need to propose a vote and receive DAO approval!

BLVD DAO (BLVDD) are transferable ERC-20 tokens.

At launch, the DAO will have full control of the DAO treasury. Meaning if DAO members would like vote to grant funds to various projects or community ideas it can do so by proposing a vote for approval.

In the future we will be transferring direct ownership of the BLVD token smart contract to the DAO. Enabling the DAO to update in-app earning functions as it sees fit.

Then select: “New Transfer”

Then select BLVD under token:

Then select the amount of BLVD to send to the DAO, every 5,000 BLVD = 1 BLVD DAO token

Submit Deposit will kick off a transaction to send tokens. Please be patient as this can take time to process!
