Hi Sophia,
Tell David I said hi! He was my supervisor for my first placement, and had lectured on several subjects as well.
With regards to preparing for the ethics, I must say that I did not prepare for it prior to the interview (I wasn’t told there was going to be an ethics question), and I cannot remember what exactly the question was although it had something to do with client confidentiality. I guess my best advice would be to cover (in general) things you have previously learnt in fourth year ethics, such as client confidentiality, managing your wellbeing, providing evidence-based service, dual/multiple relationships, as well as knowing that you can approach a fellow colleague or supervisor when you need help in case any ethical issues arise. Read through the APS Code of Ethics briefly (you don’t have to remember them all!).
Just remember, in ethics, sometimes the thought that comes through your “gut feeling” is always the best. A lot of ethical issues are not black or white, and most often falls into a grey area. As long as you can acknowledge this in your interview, I think you will do fine.
