Here’s the Tentative Fall 2014 Schedule, so you can get your Calendars marked up now!

Aug 18-22 — Band Camp

Sept. 13 — Danbury

Sept. 20 — Brien McMahon

Sept. 28 — New Milford/Trumbull

Oct. 11 — Westhill

Oct. 18 — Stamford

Oct. 25- New England States Championships — New Britain CT

Nov. 1- Bunnell HS

The National Championships for Class A bands will be held at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa. over the weekend of Nov. 8-9, and Open Class bands will take to the field at MetLife Stadium on Nov. 15. We will declare if we are “A”or “Open” this June.

Here’s the Schedule for March 8, 2014 (Home Show #1)

March 8 — 2 shows — Bunnell & Shelton— Drums & Guard

Bunnell Show will be at 1pm, Bunnell Drumline is on first at 1pm — then guard at 2:50. Show will be over by 3:30ish

Shelton — Drumline is on at 3:10, Drum Awards at 4:40pm, Guard at 8:42 — Awards at 10:30 (Newtown at 10:02)

So the day (Tentatively) looks like this:

900am — all members (Guard/Perc) report BHS for rehearsal

1200pm — lunch break

100pm — Drumline performs (load & leave after performance by 145pm)

215pm — Drumline unload and warm up at Shelton

250pm — Guard Performs at Bunnell

310pm — Bunnell Awards at BHS — Drumline Performs at Shelton

330pm — Guard? Dinner? Rehearsal?

440pm — Drum Awards at Shelton

600pm — Guard bus to Shelton — Drumline returns to BHS unload into the Band Room

842pm — Guard Performs (Since the drum students will be stamped — we will encourage drummers to return to Shelton to see the Guard).

1030pm — Guard Awards at Shelton

- this day will be tight for the drumline (you have 2 hours from Gate to Gate), but guard will be fine.

I will have the Truck and Bus on Standby so the drumline can leave asap after their 1pm performance.
