Greetings Folks and welcome to the Championship Edition of Weekend Update!

Please see below for all info needed for this weekend. I will also paste a link that will allow you to view the Director’s Packet that I received from USBands — this has the timetable for Sunday, as well as directions and other pertinent information.

Saturday:

Guard:

Report Aux Gym 9am. Rehearsal until 12pm. Pack for Sunday.

Drumline:

10:30am — Report Main Gym

1:30pm — Load Truck/Busses

2:15pm — Depart for West Hill HS MAC Championships! (Eat Lunch on Bus)

3:15pm — unload/warm ups (outside)

5:20pm — PERFORM

5:30pm — load Truck, visit concessions to get dinner (bring $) Watch other groups.

8:15pm — Awards — All Seniors or Full Retreat — so stay in uniform.

8:30pm — Depart for BHS

The truck will be going DIRECTLY to NJ after the performance.

Sunday:

Guard:

8:30am — Report driveway next to Band Room. Bring Food for Bus Ride

11:30am — Arrive NJ

12:30-12:50 — Warm Up

12:55pm — staging

1:05pm — perform!

3:00pm — Guard Awards

5:00pm — Watch drumline

5:30pm — Bus to Stratford

Drumline:

9:00am — Report Side Driveway, Bus Departs — bring lunch for bus ride!

12:30pm — Buss arrives in NJ

1:05pm — Watch Guard

3:00pm — unload/warm ups (outside)

5:00pm — PERFORM

5:30pm — Load truck, eat at concessions ($$$) watch other groups…

8:40pm — Awards — Full Retreat (Stay in uniform)

9:00pm — Depart for BHS

The truck will be returning to BHS — we will only need to unload the PIANO for Miss. L’s class! (on Monday Period 2)

Band Tour is Wednesday April 9, 2014

Indoor Guard & Drumline

Here are the details:

07:45am — BHS Students report to Period 1 for attendance then BHS Students report to the Band Room no later than 8am. SHS Students report for attendence in period 1 as well. Flood Students will go directly to Flood and meet us at 9am when we arrive.

08:30am — BHS Students load Bus - SHS students will be picked up at SHS

08:45am — Depart BHS/SHS

09:00am — Arrive Flood Gym — set up floor mat & Drumline.

10:00am — Perform for All 8th Grade students (not just Band students) sitting in the Bleachers & all 7th Grade Instrumental students as possible.

11:00am — Load out — drive to lunch

11:15am — Lunch (Bring $7) at Vazzy in Stratford

12:15pm — Arrive Wooster — load into Gym

01:00pm — Perform for All 8th Grade students & all 7th grade Instrumental Music Students

01:30pm — Load out — depart for Bunnell, SHS Bus back to SHS

01:45pm — Unload into the Band Room — busses at 02:10pm.

Looking Forward:

Spring Concert May 21, 7pm — $3

Memorial Day Parade (Mandatory) — report 11am at St. James Church Parking Lot, parade begins at 12 NOON!
