I’m a little late to the party but I do love this kind of thing. Don’t feel bad, for me and my husband (in a pretty low cost of living area) seemingly spend $800 a month on groceries! I am similarly unbothered because I don’t find it pleasurable to do lots of extensive batch cooking or meal prep to save a little money, I just want to eat what I want to eat and can save money other places (like trying to not buy clothes constantly, for example.) And so if this is what it costs to make most meals at home, then so be it. Also, booze. We buy a lot of it.
