Founders: It’s not 1990. Stop treating your employees like it is.

All so true. Haven’t read through all of the comments, but it’s amazing to me, too, the hiring practices involved in general. Untimely responses to applicants, no response at all, immensely long and ridiculously under-communicated recruitment periods, and on, and on.

Everyone is spread thin, working hard, yada yada. Yet, the brand experience you bring to hiring everyone will put you so far ahead of the competition in most cases, that just that relatively small effort can reap immense rewards. Seems so easy, but still so very hard to find.
