Paths
In a pathless land
Wisdom follows a drunkard’s
Walk in distraction.

The End
In the end, the end,
As a cat steps, daintily
And stalked birds take flight.

Catepillar
Spinning nets of words
The aging caterpillar
Weaves its prison cell.

On the Border
Rivers of sorrow
Drown in parched desert sands.
Tumbleweeds roll by.
