Although some prepaid cards can be related to your PayPal account, others can’t base on the rules of the card issuer. Usually, you are supposed to register a prepaid card under your name and address before you can go for linking it to your PayPal account and myprepaidCenter website is a good source.

Making Purchase

· Choose PayPal as the payment system while making procurement on a site that admits PayPal. The website will transfer you to the PayPal payment line.

· Then pick “Debit/Credit Card” from the options, and then provide your prepaid credit card info. PayPal will only take prepaid credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo.

At the end press “Review and Continue” to see history of the transaction, and then tap the option of “Confirm and Pay.” You should have enough money on your prepaid card to cover the full sum of the charges; or else, the card will be dropped. You cannot go and apply the balance on your card as an incomplete payment.

Linking to PayPal Account

· As the first step check your prepaid card for a phone number or webpage address you can utilize to register the card, and log in to your PayPal account and find the option of “Profile”. Pick the Update Card option.

· Now activate the drop-down menu and choose Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express and enter the required info.

· You will see that your PayPal billing address is on the screen and ensure it matches the address listed to the prepaid card.

· Tap the option of Add Card button. You will see that PayPal will authenticate the billing address on file with the card company. After that, you will be able to make payments on PayPal utilizing the prepaid card as the backing source.

· Here go to the Profile tab and pick the My Money option and tap the Complete Expanded Use Enrollment link next to the entry for the prepaid card.

· Press Get Number and then tap Continue and check your prepaid card’s billing report for the PayPal charge. Now you should see a four-digit code. In case you are not able to see your account statement online, the code should pop up within two to four days; or else, you’ll have to wait for your report to come in the mail.

· In second last step log in to your PayPal account and tap the Complete Expanded Use Enrollment.

At the end enter the four-digit code and tap Submit to validate your card.
