Your Company Culture is Who You Hire, Fire, and Promote
Dr. Cameron Sepah

Where I’m from they always hire #3s. It sucks because they’re nice but nothing ever gets done. And because the company is nice to them they don’t feel the need to improve.

I’m torn between quitting or trying very hard to not become a #2. I’m usually a patient and fun person to work with.

However, dealing with nice lazy people who earn as much [if not, more] when I have to do most of their work day in and day out is starting to take a toll on me.

I’ve tried bringing this up to higher management but nothing ever changes. As much as I like the job I feel like they are slowly losing me. Should I just tender or stick around and hope it gets better?
