Who’s Afraid Of A Big, Black, Unbeaten Quarterback?
Alexander Goot

I was enjoying the article until the writer tried to excuse RG3 and Kaepernick of their failings. RG3 was given an extension based on unwarranted hope that he could replicate his rookie year success. He’s been benched because of his contract, but even more so, because he’s not the best QB on his team. I will agree that injury and an incompetent organization broke him. His actions and words shows a child who felt entitled because of the owner and that undermined any authority the coach had. You blame the coach for RG3’s failures, but it’s the same coaching staff that led him during his rookie season. Kaepernick just needs a change. He’s the victim of a power struggle that broke the team.
