At least, if we are talking about luxury apartments of Dukley Gardens residential complex in Montenegro!
Nowadays, in this complex three luxury apartments have been already bought for a total of 420 bitcoins, which is equivalent to the amount of approximately 3.2 million US dollars.
Dukley Gardens residential complex is located in Budva (Montenegro), which is one of the largest tourist centers located on the entire Adriatic coast.
The complex consists of 202 luxury apartments with an area of 80–212 square meters with 1–3 bedrooms.
The cost of a one-bedroom apartment will cost its new owner 125 bitcoins, and for a two-level penthouse will have to pay 800 bitcoins.
In many ways, the implementation of transactions for bitcoins was due to the efforts of the local company AMIA (Astra Montenegro Investment Association), which is engaged in active promotion of the cryptocurrency and convinces them to accept payment for restaurants and hotels in Budva.
By the way, precisely because today few companies in the world accept cryptocurrencies, AMIA has managed to increase the number of its regular customers.
One of them is a 25-year-old crypto-enthusiast from France, who said the process of buying real estate for bitcoins was very fast.
The transaction was held with the participation of the law firm Prelević’s, the cryptocurrency was converted into Euros immediately after the signing of the documents and the implementation of the bitcoin transaction.
