Avoiding Conversation on ML at Superb of Teraju

When I was presenting to Superb team of Teraju a week back on building truly intelligent f&B vending machine, as much as ML experimentation is in the pipeline and happening as early as the 2nd year, I avoided using those terms in my pitch deck.

If you dont have a minimum technical understanding of ML and you dont have a documented plan for the implementation, you actually dont have an ML strategy - no matter how much you are trying to convince yourself otherwise.

You dont want to mislead your (potential) investor to have an impression of how smart you are just because you are using those alien terms. You may be able to capture the attention of the less-sophisticated investors but the sophisticated one? Good luck.

You also dont want to waste time talking about something weird and your (potential) investor cant actually understand what you are trying to do and most importantly, its impact. Assess your audience. Dont just bark.
