These images have brought back so many memories for me as I lived in and travelled extensively all over Africa in the 80's. Thanks for these fine and evocative photos. It is amazing that when the picture is in B&W that you get to the essence of it, realising that colour can be a distraction at times.

Last time I took a trip I left my SLR at home just using my iPhone to capture images. Perhaps I should also revert to B&W sometimes, after all that is what I started out with many years ago!
