John, the generalizations do you a disservice. You seem to commit the same crime you are accusing “the other side” of — generalization and homogenization.
Every time you talk about ALL democrats, ALL liberals, ALL <anything> you are automatically wrong. Just like there are many Trump supporters who dislike almost everything he does, but support him for some part of his agenda that they consider more important than anything else. The liberals come in many sizes and shapes. Many dislike Hillary. Many have the same complaints about the system that you do.
You are joining the noise when you generalize and paint the other side one color — just as I call Liberals that call all Trump supporters <whatever>. To make any progress in this country you have to get into the details — what is it that needs doing. How do we do that? Let’s discuss that task. We may disagree on how to achieve things, but when we agree on what needs to be achieved, then we can make progress. I admire John McCain and his attitude — he was willing to admit that Obama was a good family man who was trying to do the right thing — while at the same time disagreeing with many things he was doing. Not because they were inherently evil or anti-American, but because he thought we should be doing things differently.
