A Piste Trump.
Donald Trump has found himself at the top of another mountain by making news headlines with a controversial and worrying story.
An unverified report has made its way to the public’s viewing concerning confidential and sensitive contacts with Moscow, and possible compromising material by Russia to blackmail the president elect.
BuzzFeed; the well loved media source with great content such as 33 Questions White People Have For White People and 24 Questions Black People Have For White People, had pounced onto this story first and has written a column on the information alongside the 35 page document headed with “CONFIDENTIAL/SENSITIVE SOURCE” with the ability for it to be printed and saved by media outlets and anyone with a personal interest (like myself), revealing 2 eligible accounts of sexual actions by Trump in a Russian hotel where Obama once spent time previously and Moscow’s interference in the US presidential campaign summarised as an “extensive conspiracy between TRUMP’s campaign team and Kremlin.” and detailed as “Speaking in confidence to a compatriot in late July 2016, Source E (which is not included in the document) an ethnic Russian close associate of Republican US president candidate Donald TRUMP, admitted that there was a well developed conspiracy of cooperation between them and the Russian leadership.”
An summary from Sean Spicer before handing over to Mike Pence was that the situations was “Frankly outrageous and highly irresponsible for a left wing blog that is openly hostile to the President Elect’s campaign, to drop highly salacious and flat out false information on the internet… is a sad and pathetic attempt to get clicks.”
(So BuzzFeed doing what it does best.)
Trump said “It’s a disgrace that information would be let out… all fake news, phoney stuff it didn’t happen… should never mad entered paper.”
When the news hit other media outlets, Donald took to Twitter, enabled caps lock and let his followers have it, calling it “FAKE NEWS” and “A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT.” showing his clear disagrees and denial with the headlines and legislations being placed on him by Russia and bias media sources. And Sean Spicer finished his speech with “About all the talk about fake news, this political witch hunt (which was tweeted by Trump before the press conference) by some of the media is based on some of the most flimsy reporting and is frankly shameful and disgraceful.”
Mike Pence made a statement before Donald Trump answered questions from the press by saying “With freedom comes responsibility, and the irresponsible decision of a few news organisations to run with a false and unsubstantiated report when most news organisations resisted the temptation to propagate the fake news can only be attributed to media bias in an attempt to demean the president elect and overcoming admiration and the American people are sick and tired of it.”
BuzzFeed were later referred to by Trump as “A failing pile of garbage… they’re going to suffer the consequence.”
Along with CBS him saying “They’re going out of their way to build it up, it is a disgrace what took place… sad that the information got released.”
However the three names tied onto this document have no involvement in any of the happening.
Cater Page has no association to or with Donald Trump or any of his secretaries, Paul Manafort has denied all involvement in this action, and Michael Cohan did not leave or enter the country between August and September and has never been in Prague and has provided his passport as evidence. On this day he was said to be in South California at his son’s university baseball game. Recent reports now a different Michael Cohan has been said to be involved in the document.
Putin sent out news saying that the fake news was fake news, and if Russia had anything to use against Trump they would have made it public themselves not leaked.
A tweet from Donald Trump that was directed towards the Intelligence Agencies reads, “Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to ‘leak’ into the public. One last shot at me.Are we living in Nazi Germany?”
During his press conference he was questioned regarding this statement to which he responded with “What the Intelligence Agencies did, release false and fake information is what Nazis would have done.”
This point was never really looked that much upon besides the reasoning behind the tweet however, many do see it as an over exaggeration from Trump but on the other hand it is just a common rhetorical question used for emphasis which is in some way meaningful. Nazis spent their time hating and spreading lies that Jews were unaccepted.
(I don’t mean to say that I support his statement, I disagree with any political use and references to Nazi like parties as nothing has come close to that.)
During the press conference, Trump brought up hacking, saying “ As far as the hacking, I think it was Russia. We also get hacked by other countries and other people. When we lost 22 million names (in a hacking scandal) that didn’t make big news, probably China. We have much hacking going on and one of the things we our going to do something, we have some of the greatest computer minds anywhere in the world that we have assembled.” Plus he has a policy that will be implemented to strengthen security in America.
He also brought up the Clinton email hacking. “Hillary Clinton got the questions to the debate and didn’t report it, that’s a horrible thing. But if Donald Trump (he spoke about himself in the third person a lot during this conference.) had gotten the questions to the debate it would have been the biggest story in the history of stories and they would have said immediately you have to get out of the race.” Which is a crucial point he made, it would have most likely happened like that. Except people knew that if they did that to Clinton then Trump 100% would become the 45th President of the United States which many feared, so they didn’t give any negative sanctions towards Hillary as she was the closest and key component to potentially knocking Trump off of his high horse.
A question came from a journalist concerning ObamaCare and the future of the service to which Trump’s long winded response was “ObamaCare is a complete and total disaster, they can say what they want, they can guide you any way they want to guide you, in some cases they guide you incorrectly in most cases you realise what has happened. Its imploding as we sit, some states have 100% increase and ’17 is going to be the bad year (if it isn’t already), it’s going to be catastrophic. Frankly we could sit back and wait and watch and criticise and it would be a cauchemar… and people would come begging to use please we have to do something about ObamaCare. We don’t want to own it politically, they own it right now. So the easiest thing would be to let it implode in ’17. ObamaCare is the Democrats problem.”
Repeal and Replace is the future healthcare, it will be a “Far less expensive healthcare and far better.”
So this hopefully means that more money will be put into this system and maintain well kept under Trump’s effort to start a new and “better” healthcare and should be left and undermined after a period of time. However, it will bring in more opportunities for up and coming doctors and nurses bringing his promise to the people of America with more jobs.
As he said, Ford and Fiat Chrysler have both cut plans to build dealerships outside of the US and have plans to build upon existing and new facilities.
Similar with drugs, Trump is planning to bid “properly” for drugs saving billions of dollars over a period of time.
On the other hand, the F-35 project is over scheduled and will be later complete and it billions of dollars over budget, and is still potentially going to start and programme for the F18. Both our beneficial to the American armed forces however worries many with expenditures and money going out which he said he can equal back in a period of time.
So Trump could potentially achieve what he has said he will do to Make America Great Again and increased jobs, lower unemployment and lead the country to a greater future and prove the media and the opponents wrong to what they have said in recent time pre election and post.
