As the title mentions, Andela boot camp is always challenging, but that is what makes it interesting at the same time. Adapting and accepting to deal with all those challenges, it is the only way to make it at the boot camp. Hence, it is the main trigger for being our best versions.
As days go by, more tasks and feedbacks are coming along the way. They are some well-known solutions to such situation, some of them have been my ways to adapt to the boot camp challenges. Bellow those are the most recognizable challenges and how I have adapted to them.
The first challenge I have met so far is to maintain my time perfectly as it should, and being able to manage the time I have got to complete all the work I have set to achieve at the end of the day. In the first days of this week two, I had only two endpoints done and weren’t that perfect which means it needed a lot of extra work to make it perfect. So this was the first challenge in these past couple days but good news is that by this time am writing am almost done implementing the main functionality of the whole project. Adapting to the best technique for time management was the only option I had.
Moreover, I have been given feedbacks about lot of tools and technical ways to achieve great work that I were not using before coming to bootcamp, so I had to make sure I do update my skills so I had to adapt to them. And am really proud for that because it made me implements this boot camp’s challenge in a smarter and effective way.
I had to adapt to having a creative and advanced perspective view about the project. I could say that this is the most important challenging thing that I have come across in this boot camp. The project looked not too complex but there were lot details to keep an eye on in order to make it more efficient and interesting, so that the first that challenged me and made me do the best I can to make it real.
As conclusion, I would say that in these few last weeks I had met more challenges and I have learnt several useful new skills and technical thinking through being more professionally challenged and am excited for these weeks at Andela boot camp.
