Wearing the correct badge…
I am a conservative socialist. Where do I fit in?
I believe being a socialist means I’m social, not anti-social. I believe being a conservative means I understand all policy has to be paid for.
The trick to achieving consensus is to satisfy liberals by allowing all policy to be inclusive while satisfying conservatives (Republicans(?) not bigots) by showing that paying for policy is an investment and not a cost.
I’m confident there are too many badges at the table to choose from and it becomes a game of deciding which crowd you want to hang (out) with.
All of us, every woman, child, and man, are headed in the same direction; the future. How we get there and what it will be like once we arrive is a matter of how the group (remember, I’m inclusive) manages each step of the way.
