The dev team is working on the smart contract to verify Bitcoin ownership; we make sure the verification process hassle-free for Bitcoin holder.
There are two ways to verify your Bitcoin address either from our website or MyEtherWallet. Bitcoin holders will need a Bitcoin address, holding bitcoin, and an Ethereum address, to receive BTH, along with an optional reference code(e.g., your email address). Please note that the more Bitcoin is claimed with your reference code, the more BTH you will receive from the 1.000.000 BTH user growth pool.

What is Bytether
Bytether (pronounce as byte-ther) is a 1:1 cross-fork of the Bitcoin blockchain onto the Ethereum network. Max supply is 21,000,000 Bytether which will launch on Feb 2018. Bytether’s sole focus is building a greater payment ecosystem, not ICO. As an ERC20 token, Bytether takes all advantages of Ethereum blockchain technology (faster and cheaper) while maintaining currency characteristics of Bitcoin

Why do we need Bytether
It is undeniable that Bitcoin is the most well-known cryptocurrency, yet the fundamental implementation of Bitcoin built its own obstacles such as low transaction speed and high transaction fee. Ethereum is much better in that concerns.
No doubt quite a few other coins are trying to replicate Bitcoin on Ethereum network, but Bytether is different. We do cross-fork from Bitcoin blockchain to Ethereum network to provide a better currency and enable Bitcoin holders to instantly on-board. Bytether is the real equivalent Bitcoin on the Ethereum network which allows faster transactions’ speed as well as lower transactions’ fee.
Cryptocurrencies payment is still inaccessible to many parties due to Bitcoin lack of the smart contract and discrepancy between various ERC20 tokens. Bytether, on the other hand, focuses itself around payment and payment only. With a specialized smart contract, Bytether can handle complicated payment transactions.
