Overwhelmed ( stock photo)

I don’t know why I overwhelm myself!

Seriously!

I need to stop from over scheduling myself.

I need to stop saying “yes” to events or people that do not add to my growth!

I need to realize I am human and not a super human.

I need to realize I am a mom and not a super mom.

Who pays the price?

My sanity.

My kids.

My husband.

People who love me.

Today I was so irritated since the morning. It is summer and I am always trying to schedule and organize and schedule some more. I thought when summer came my life will be less chaotic and I can get things done. Boy was I wrong! It is summer time and I have accomplished some things but not from the business side. I had plans:

  • I would schedule my newsletters for months so I don't have to worry about it when I go back to work in August.
  • I would start working on my online program.
  • I would finish my modules from B school.
  • I would save the videos from IIN ( Institute For Integrative Nutrition) before they expire in few months.

You see, I can’t get up in the morning and start working on my health coaching business. I have to feed the kids, myself, and then clean the house. In addition, to preparing lunch and dinner. Thank God for my mother living so close. We have lunch at her house on most days. I tried to do work and finish the house later but that did not work. House work started piling up. I do not understand how people say “ enjoy yourself, the work will be there when you get back.” They forget to mention that the work will be there x3 and minus your energy.

I do enjoy myself and my kids but I gotta get the house work out of the way first. Not sure where I am going with this, probably no where. I am just reminding myself that I am human and I am trying the best that I can.

I don’t have any tips for you. I would like to tell you that if you are struggling with balacing everything in your life, stop for a minute, take a deep breath, be thankful that you can still breathe and remind yourself that you are human and you are doing the best that you can. Doing the best that you can is ENOUGH. Hence, you are enough.
