Oh dear, this is dripping with outliers…Harvard, Hootsuite, Gates, Jobs. An MBA doesn’t have to go anywhere near $300K. More importantly, why would someone seeking and obtaining more formal education be a mistake? Some reasonable points are made here but mainly whether a Harvard or Columbia MBA will be worth the ROI. Or, whether an entrepreneur needs any education at all. But, to bucket everyone after a more formal business education as possibly a mistake is silly. More education is never a bad thing and it doesn’t have to be exorbitant.
