Announcing the Greenleaf Directory
Greenleaf Publishing is delighted announce the development of the Greenleaf Directory. The Directory was co-created in partnership with a group at Northwestern University.
Together, we realized that the challenges facing business, the environment and society at large cannot be resolved by Silo Mentality. Equally, it is important to connect those people working in practice with the researchers and information to find the right solutions. The Greenleaf Directory seeks to make information-sharing and connected decision-making easier.
The Greenleaf Directory is a resource to support a growing network of dedicated authors and professionals from Greenleaf Publishing, the world’s leading specialist publisher in Sustainability, Governance, Environmental Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. Together with our parent company GSE Research, we gather and disseminate research and best practice in these fields via our Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) and Greenleaf Online Library (GOL) collections, and our printed books and eBooks.
To make it easy for users to search and find network members based on their areas of expertise, the Directory is organized into six separate categories within the field of sustainability:
- Environmental Management
- Sustainable Business
- Responsible Finance and Economics
- Social Responsibility
- Innovation and Social Development
- Ethics and Philosophy
Each of these areas are then organized into 6 further sub-categories, such as sustainable retail, natural resource management and human rights.

As a service to the Greenleaf Publishing community, the Greenleaf Directory is completely free to join and can be accessed here. As you will see, the Directory is not yet populated but we have created a fictitious author profile to provide a sense of how the profiles will appear. If you wish to join the Directory, please contact James Donaldson Briggs.
