Good point! Ideally in the end you won’t be running both at the same time, just the Flask server, so they shouldn’t be trying to use the same port. But if you do try to run the Flask server and
npm run dev at the same time they likely will conflict both trying to use port 5000
I’m personally not the biggest fan of Go (the biggest benefit is performance/large web apps I usually don’t need as far as I can tell), but I’m sure it would be pretty similar! All you need is a way to serve static files and put the Svelte build folder there.
