Point taken.

I get your point, sometimes Allan’s satire gets a little crude, but under the circumstances I can’t blame him. I do the same.

The way I see it there are two very distinct kinds of satire. There is the sweet kind that one aims at basically good, well-meaning folks that one admires, say, a man of impeccable character like President Obama.

Then there is the belittling, vicious satire that one aims at scumbags like Trump as a means to undercut their power. It is nastily funny, but deadly serious at the same time. It is better to go this route than violent revolution.
