The political, revolutionary cycle is endless. It begins with good men of conscious like Bernie getting the ball rolling. Once the mass movement is underway ruthless demagogues push aside the idealists to institute murder and mayhem. Finally practical men of action take over and a golden era flourishes for a few decades, but gradually corruption and stagnation once again set in until along comes another Bernie to restart the cycle.

This is not meant to be cynical. It simply helps illustrate the ultimate law of the universe — probability balance. This law states that creative good must always at some point in time be offset my destructive bad. As man is a part of the universe, try as he might, he can never get past this most frustrating law of balancing forces of creation and destruction.

However, for individuals it is always worth the effort to strive to stay on the positive side of the balancing equation. Go Bernie!
