Crashed
We were about one hour into the flight when the turbulence started. I remember just barley getting relaxed enough to try and dose off. We were now far enough up in the sky my ears had stopped popping. We hit a little turbulence like you do on any flight. I figured it would pass but it didnt. For about 30 minutes we went through straight turbulence. It wasnt terribly bad but bad enough that no one was aloud to leave their seats. Then after about 30 minutes of straight turbulence the power suddenly shut off, all of it. I feel like there was a split second after the power died were the back up tried to bump in but it failed away immediatly. My heart fell with the plane as we descended back to Earth. I thought i was actually going to die, im sure everybody did. It all happened so fast but know when I look back to it all I can remember so much. The people screaming, the mother next to me squeezing the arm rests on her chair, the air masks dropping from the airplane celling. Its crazy to think that I’m still alive. Its a miracle. After decending for what seemed to be forever, the engine kicked back in and the pilot was able to bring the plane back to control. We then landed as soon as possible at the nearest runway. I mean how many people do you know that survived an airborne plane. I definitely wouldnt chose to go through it again, but its definitely something cool I will always have to share with new people I meet.
