First, this song happens to be one of my favorite from Disney’s classics because of many of the reasons you mentioned. I found you interpretation very interesting and enlightening. Your analysis of how everything in the seen is used to help perpetuate that Ursula is evil without knocking the audience over the head with it was eyeopening.You explained how even her movements, physical appearance, and overall color pallet help the viewer realize this. I would like to add that the voice used for her also conveys this. You touched on how the voice does not sync with the music. Disney also made sure to give her a deep and imposing voice singing voice to help contrast Ariel soft and higher pitched singing voice.

Overall I agree with your interpretation and analysis of the animation.
