“Tempering — in metallurgy, the process of improving the characteristics of a metal, especially steel, by heating it to a high temperature, though below the melting point, then cooling it quickly in a process called quenching, using methods such as immersing the hot steel in water, oil, or forced-air. The process has the effect of toughening by lessening brittleness and reducing internal stresses.“

The only way for you to acquire the internal flexibility and toughness you need to achieve your life goals is by you being tempered by the trials of life.

Nobody likes the process, but everybody loves the results.
