Design thinking makes sense due to the thinking process and it involoves hands on work, project based learning, group work and then creating the final product. The video with the young children designing and creating the animal was a great activity and highlighted the practicality in the classroom. The children had to research, compare and take into account the best features an animal needs to survive. This form of learning is important to consider as the scaffold will benefit children in 2017 due to its project based learning aspect. This can be incorporated into any year level with the wide range of lessons that can be achieved.
