The remains of a facility

With so many productive years

Reminds me of how much batterment we can withstand

And still exist

The supports all gone

Beauty in weathering

We’re defeated in graffiti

A shell of us

Our bones into art.

We’ll stand there bleeding

Leaking from the ceiling

And all the walls have gone sideways.

Shattered windows through broken glass smile

In total ruin,

Fascination remains

What is more interesting than perfection?

Almost anything.

Its cracks and depths almost infinite

Its ages holding secrets that can’t be uncovered in half the time.

Yet the rubble works on us

And the heavy load of negligence

Impresses cloaked figures

Through hoods and bandannas

The floor of us creaks too.

I get paid to be my goofy self, and lots of characters. Et tu, Brute?
