Would love to hear you expand on how PMs can instill this mindset/working model in organizations gripped with traditional business budgeting processes and layers of bureaucracy and approvals. When the c-suite demands certainty (when, yes, it doesn’t really exist), the PM often bends to the environment. The other option is becoming a (often sole) change agent for all the good reasons you’ve listed above. But…let’s be forthright that in some cases, this could put their job at risk. I’d love to get your perspective on how PMs can influence/educated UP to bring this working model to life. Many PMs don’t need convincing…they need ways to manage the bureaucracy from above.
