Someone still has to run for president. Running a presidential candidate, as I pointed out in the article that you are commenting on, is a necessary component of building party legitimacy. You don’t get to employ the “don’t run for president, run for school board” argument every time the Greens run a presidential candidate and hold any legitimacy.
