Started the weekend by spending an unplanned $69 on concert tickets, and didn’t grab takeout even though my BF disrupted my dinner plans by MEANLY eating (his) leftover Indian food earlier in the afternoon. Instead I gave myself mild food poisoning, from a forgotten loaf of bread I found hanging out in the back of the freezer! I couldn’t find an expiration date on the package, but it looked, smelled, and tasted fine. Who knew bread could trick you so??
Anyway, by the next morning I was no worse for wear. I spent $8.53 for a latte and muffin, and $50.95 at the farmer’s market. Then it was rainy so I spent $28.76 on a fancy sandwich and some snacks at the market downstairs instead of going to a real grocery store.
Sunday I got up nice and early, spent $10.88 on another latte and breakfast sandwich, and took a $10.49 Lyft down to art class, only to discover that it was cancelled. Oops. I took an $8.48 Lyft home. When BF arrived from his bachelor weekend he was hungover, so we saved his birthday dinner for another day and ordered pizza. He paid; I threw the poisoned loaf of bread in the trash.
Total: $187.09 of an estimated $180.
