What year did you start playing lacrosse? I started when I was 4 so like 1999
What was your favorite memory at Towson?
A: Favorite memory was definitely getting snowed in with all my best friends my junior year. We got hit with a pretty big blizzard that winter and everyone was just hanging out, enjoying each other’s company and we didn’t have to worry about class or anything like that.
Why did you choose Towson, and where else were you looking to play at?
A: I chose Towson because of the blue collar, family oriented culture the coaches were building. I didn’t really have any other Division I looks so it wasn’t a very tough decision for me.
What was your best college lacrosse memory?
A: Best college lacrosse memory was definitely playing on final four weekend.
If you could play a different sport in college what would it be?
A: If I could play any other sport in college it would either be college basketball or maybe going out west and playing college golf.
What is some advice you would give to a kid aspiring to play college lacrosse?
A: I know it’s cliche but definitely to keep a stick in your hands as much as possible and to just play as much as you can. Get into different summer leagues and play with different guys. It’ll keep the game fun and you’ll meet a lot of great guys.
Tell me what was going through your head when you got drafted by the Launch?
A: So I was watching the draft on my laptop with my son. When I heard my name I was really excited for the opportunity to play at the next level and continue my lacrosse career. I was definitely a little extra excited to hear my name called for the Florida Launch because I knew we had a great draft class plus getting down to Florida every weekend was definitely something I was looking forward to.
Would you leave your job as a pro athlete if Barstool Sports offered you a job there?
A: I’m not sure if I’d leave my job as a pro athlete all together. I’d probably try to work something out that would allow me to work at Barstool as well as play lacrosse. Maybe some of the guys over at Barstool will catch wind of this and extend an offer my way.
A: Easily Selena Gomez
Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer?
A: I’d say more of gatherer, I just don’t have the patience to sit out all day and wait around for something to hunt.
What were you like in high school?
A: In high school I was pretty quiet, didn’t really get into trouble ever. I was raised by two awesome parents and really just wanted to make them proud by doing well academically and athletically so I wasn’t much of a troublemaker.
What inspires you?
A: My son is definitely my biggest inspiration. Every day I wake up and work to better myself for him and his mother.
Describe the color yellow to someone who is blind?
A: Really tough question here, I feel like whoever has the answer to this should receive a Nobel Prize. I think I would try to have them imagine what it feels like to have the sun hit your face and tell them that’s what the color yellow is like.
