Not qualified!!!!

This happens a lot in the realm of looking for a new job or a better job. You build a resume that seems to be your best one yet. You submit for the job and the end results is a notification via email that after further consideration, you are not qualified or that the company chose a more qualified applicant for the position. Well, how many people feel like they are in an endless web of feeling incomplete. Not that a job should make you feel complete, but some people like to utilize their best skills while doing something they love to do. It’s something said about this. “If you are doing something you love you will never work a day in your life”.

Listen, to this rebuttal. If you choose to work, it should be in a field that makes you better. I understand you need certain skills to qualify for a job, but how many jobs post openings that meet the criteria of the applicant applying. Meaning how many jobs descriptions mean what they say. Needs a good communicator, someone who works well in a team. Followed by qualified in such and such system. Well, disqualified alert! Don’t know the system so no need to apply. Well, I say apply and make it hard for the hiring manager to say no to you. Don’t overshoot for positions that you may not qualify for, but apply to those you meet some qualification in the job description. If you make the interview relate everything they are looking for to a real life experience that may not be job experience.

Don’t feel like this again.

Tangled up in string. Bonded by what the end result is. If you don’t qualify look for other avenues for income. Entrepreneurship is available for all who go after something they are passionate about.
