PET Scan results

PET Scan results came back quickly. Dad had his PET scan this morning, 4/27/16 at Baylor in Irving. While all CT scans and MRIs from the last year never indicated any cancer (which is why all this was so shocking) the PET scan is much more detailed. We were informed this afternoon that the PET scan revealed that the cancer is in the pancreas and a spot on the liver (3cm X 3.5cm in size). This is good news to us as the absence of cancer on all other scans meant we had no idea where all it could be. We are thanking God that it has not spread further. The Oncologist said it was not in the bile duct, which we originally thought it was as well. I am personally just relieved. Feels like a glimmer of hope.
