As a former Arizonan (25+ years in Phoenix), I am disappointed with your vote today. You voted for “debate” on a topic that shouldn’t even have been raised. “Debate” on a bill that doesn’t even exist. “Debate” that prevents most Americans from getting the care you just received. Your life was saved by the Senate’s healthcare. Do I as an American citizen not deserve to have healthcare for my health issues? Do I as an American citizen deserve to have to pay half my family’s take home pay for care? You could have stood up for us today. You could have said “No” to the debate. You could have worked with the Democrats to improve the ACA. To remove the ability for health care companies to make money off my illnesses and pain. You did not do that.

Your words today were good ones. Please back them up with actions that show you are willing to be bi-partisan. Back them up with actions that keep insurance possible for all, not just the rich and not just the Senate and the House.
