12 Signs You’re Working in a Feature Factory

One sign of a feature factor that you touched on hits me where I live. I’m a software tester. The last place I worked only had a test team because I proved the team could save money. We tested, but no one really listened to our results. Many times, problems we found were put on the back burner until a customer reported them. And since the company changed bug tracking systems regularly, most problems went into the bit bucket.

Most of the time, the developers worked on the “hot item” of the month and then ignored it once it was released. Drove me nuts. Glad to be gone from there (now), but sad to see that other companies do this too.
