It’s nice getting your perspective on this. I also teach AP Computer Science, and while the class does spend a lot of time on their computers, there are also times when we don’t code on computers. From my perspective, I’m a little worried about how the students will do on the AP test given that it’s all pen and paper.

It does suck that he hasn’t mastered the Java programming language himself though. Incompetent teachers trying to fake their way through benefits nobody.
