Types of gi sheet

GI sheet is classified according to its processed method

(1) Dip gi sheet

The sheet steel is immersed into a dissolving zinc bath and its surface will covered with zinc. Currently, continuous galvanizing craft is popular,which means people put the steel roll into the dissolving zinc bath to make the galvanized steel.

(2) Alloy-galvanized steel

The steel is also made by hot dipping. But once out of the zinc bath, it is hated to 500 degree immediately, and it will produce an alloy thin film of zinc and iron. That is the main difference between dip galvanized steel and alloy-galvanized steel. And it has a good adhesion and welding.

(3) Electrogalvanised sheet

Electroplating process is very convenient to produce eletrogalvanised sheet. But the clad layer is too thin to corrosion resist.

(4) Single galvanized steel and two-sided galvanized steel

Single galvanized steel is only galvanize one side of the steel. Compared to the two-side galvanized steel, it is better to weld, coat, rust prevent and process.
