Brain Cells Lost, Brain Cells Gained

This is by no means scientific, but I’m fairly certain I’m on solid ground here concerning the following computations:

Brains cells saved from oblivion last week, due to . . .

Not watching Fox News: 10s of thousands;

Not watching CNN: 10s of thousands; and,

Not watching CNBC: 10s of thousands.

Subtotal: + 30K-50K brain cells.

Brain cells gained last week, due to . . .

Studying IT: 10s of thousands.

Total brain cell gain for the week: 30K-60K brain cells . . . give or take . . . I’m getting older (my memory while studying keeps reminding me), so I’m certain I got docked a few thousand brain cells. Still, net positive for the week. Not too bad.

Here are some tools that help me immensely on my current learning quest. For now, you’re just going to have to trust me on these recommendations (all Android apps): Todoist, Boosted, HabitBull, and Focus To-Do . . . all of these apps are tracking (to some degree or another) my productivity on any given day, or helping me stay focused.

I’ll post reviews of the apps mentioned soon.
