Follow your Guts

Usually famous and successful people advise you to follow your guts. What does that mean? To be brave is not just an encouragement. It is also an idea about your perception. Many times, your perception is much more advanced than your reasoning. So, when you empower your perception and also listen to it, you open your mind to opportunities and things that are not so easy to be seen.

Many times, you cannot see the way things will take, but having some courage and following your instincts can lead you to places where you would never imagine. Especially, on the business world, you need to be scanning for new ideas and opportunities all the time. Several times, if you do not use the power of your perception to analyze the environment you are in, you will lose many good opportunities that may arise. The same will happen, if you decline them. You need to be focused on your passion and what fits you and your dream better, like Magnus Walker

He was a school dropout. He worked with construction in London where he was born. After that, he decided to do a course for a year in College and moved to the USA. First, he lived in Michigan and later decided to move to L.A. believing that he needed freedom and live his life to the fullest.

In LA, he was in a shop and a sales representative asked about his pants. He lied that they were from London. Then, Magnus offered them for sale as a joke, but the man accepted. After that he decided to open a clothing company which was a great success and dressed generations from Alice Cooper and Madonna. He had over 500 stores. In the nineties, it was one of the ten biggest in the USA.

After that, he decided to buy a place to build his factory and on the top of it, a house for him and his family. People from the music industry called him and asked if he was interested in renting his place for a video clip. Since then, hundreds of videos have been shut in there.

He has also loved Porsche cars since he was ten years old and he has a collection of cars that he has rebuilt. A movie director from Canada called him and asked if he would like to shut a short movie. The movie was thirty minutes long and it turned out that it got fifty thousand views on you tube. It was sold out in a movie festival in London and got him a hundred TV shows and magazine interviews. He became very famous. Nike, Volvo, BMW and other companies keep calling him for advice, because of his popularity with people. Later, he thought that it was better to close the clothing company.

His advice is to follow your guts, do what you love, not to give up, have a passion and a drive, follow your goals and be open for the ride along the road ahead.
