The Ultimate Guide To Reinventing Yourself

James, I have reinvented myself several times, and right now I am at the beginning of another journey. Before I graduated from law school I dropped out and quit my job at Price Waterhouse. Eventually I went back and graduated. I am about to be 41 years old. I started out as a lawyer with a master’s degree from the best law school in Brazil, I have also been a law professor. I was tired of being heavy, so I lost close to 80 pounds, and fell in love with image and style. Because of that, in 2007 I decided that I would become an image consultant and I did. Not only that, but I also changed my name to Milla Mathias and became a media personality in Brazil, co-hosting make-over shows on tv, and published 2 books. In 2012 I met my husband in Birmingham, Alabama, and in 2 months I left everything behind and came to the USA. I have started a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University, and I have just published my memoir, “Back To Me: Changing How I Feel About My Mother, My Body, and Men”.

Life is too interesting to be and do only one thing. I say: be happy, always, and if that entails reinventing yourself over and over, so be it!

Good luck on all of your endeavors!!
